Woman injured and flown to Royal Perth Hospital after colliding with a tree at Yallingup Siding.

A woman has been flown to Royal Perth Hospital after colliding with a tree near Yallingup.

The incident occurred along Wildwood Road and Abbeys Farm Road in Yallingup Siding, where a car collided with a tree leaving the sole driver injured and trapped.

Police responded to the crash with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services having to free trapped driver.

Once freed the female driver was flown to Royal Perth Hospital via St John of God helicopter where she will be treated.

It is unknown how bad the injuries to the driver were, however the South Western Times understands there were no other individuals involved in the crash.
