A 36-year-old man will face a string of charges for his role in a car crash in Sturt Creek that killed another man and injured three others.

On September 11, approximately 40 km from the Ringers Soak Community on Gordon Downs Road, a Mitsubishi Triton utility travelling south and a Toyota Hilux utility travelling north collided head-on with each other.

A 29-year-old male passenger in the Toyota Hilux died at the scene, while the 28-year-old male driver and two other male passengers received serious injuries.

The deceased, who cannot be named for cultural reasons, was a player on the Kundat Djaru Cats East Kimberley Football League team.
