Police investigate what caused fatal Beverley crash

Police are investigating after a woman was killed in a crash in the Wheatbelt on Monday night.

The 37-year-old was driving a silver 2008 Mazda 3 south on Great Southern Highway in Beverley when the sedan veered off the road and crashed near the intersection of York-Williams Road about 10pm.

The woman died from injuries sustained in the crash. She was the sole occupant of the car.

WA Police officers from the major crash investigation section are investigating and have appealed for anyone who saw the crash happen, or the Mazda 3 travelling in the area beforehand, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or at crimestopperswa.com.au.
