Man fighting for life after Midvale motorbike smash

A man is fighting for life in hospital after he was thrown from his motorbike in a crash in Midvale yesterday.

Police say a Nissan X-Trail was turning right from Beaconsfield Avenue into Salisbury Road about 5pm.

A Honda motorcycle travelling in the same direction hit the back of the X-Trail, throwing the 25-year-old rider from the bike.

The man was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with life-threatening injuries and he remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the X-Trail suffered minor injuries.
