Returned and Services League WA chief executive officer John McCourt will join The West Live this morning ahead of Remembrance Day, which unlike Anzac Day this year, will be a publicly attended event.

Rather than small individual services at the end of driveways amid coronavirus restrictions, WA's official service will take place at the State War Memorial in Kings Park tomorrow.

This year there will be a special synchronised performance of The Last Post at major CBD intersections and Kings Park just before the Minute’s Silence.

Mr McCourt will also weigh in on the launch of a new health and welfare service for ex-service personnel called ANZAC House Veteran Central as well as recognition of Indigenous Australians who served in the armed forces.
