Sport: The track-and-field action roars to life on Day 4 in Glasgow, with a host of Aussies raring to go.
The likes of Lachie Kennedy, Eddie Nketia and Rohan Browning will all be putting forward their case, while the swimming action doesn’t stop as the schedule becomes stacked.

Swimming catch up
There’s been so much on you can be forgiven for missing some of the action.
Here’s our swimming wrap from the morning session on day four.
T38 success
All three Aussie women are through to the T38 100m final!
Rhiannon Clark was second fastest at 12.96 while Ella Pardy ran a 13.44 and Bri Brittain a 13.50.
All three times are season bests for the girls.

Roberts through!
Lara Roberts has eased into the women’s Hammer Throw final.
She got the job done with her very first throw!
World Champion and reigning Olympic champion from Canada Camryn Rogers was the top qualifier while the Aussie was third.
All through!
All three Australian women are through to the semifinals in the 100m!
Lewis was the second-fastest qualifiers while Lane and Harris just scrape in.
On fire
Another Aussie has impressed in the women’s 100m.
Georgia Harris was out of the blocks well and looked strong through the middle of the race.
She didn’t power home as she would have liked but she is a chance of joining Lewis and Lane in the next round.
Impressive!
Torrie Lewis has dominated her heat and puts in a great time.
She comes home first and should have no issues going through to the semifinals.
Explosive Lane
Ebony Lane has made a great start to life as a Comm Games athlete!
The sprinter was out of the blocks with explosive speed and she maintained her momentum through the run to finish second, with 11.50, as she was challenged by Leah Bertrand.
Hammer time
Lara Roberts has made a great start to the Hammer Throw qualifiers with an opening throw of 66.73.
Nketia speaks
‘Fast Eddie’ is loving being out on track.
“I’m happy with it, especially because of the conditions right now,” he told Channel 7.
“I wanted to focus on execution, and that’s what I did today, and hey, we’re here right now. Can’t wait for the semifinals. This is going to be awesome, I can’t wait.
“It’s freezing. It’s cold as, but I’m not trying to focus on that. I’m just trying to focus on execution and focusing on a set of steps and relaxation.
“We’ll do it again in the semifinals.”
He also said he was loving being a part of the Commonwealth Games team.
“I just love being a part of Australia,” he said.
Swimming check
Tara Kinder, Jenna Forrester and Ella Ramsay all survived their 400m Individual Medley heats.
Meanwhile, Iona Anderson was the fastest swimmer in the 50m backstroke heats.
